Welcome! You may have heard that Crooked Images are traveling their famous Group Nood Shots around Australia so more women and non-binary folk can experience the feeling of reclaiming their body while we also raise awareness on gender inequality and the impacts it has on society.
Group Nood Shoots are a mass photoshoot (for women and non-binary folk 18+) that are planned and organised over a period of time from the creative concept of the artist and owner of Crooked Images, Lauren Crooke, We encourage expressions of interest from all so we can keep you up to date with all correspondence and information. You can change your mind at any time! Even if you’ve turned up to the shoot! The comfort and safety of our participants is a main priority.
These shoots are conducted over a range of different settings, all which are kept a secret until a day or 2 before so we can maintain privacy. We are not exhibitionists, we are making art and you are having pure agency over your body, without shame or being censored.
Please find examples of previous Crooked Images Group Nood Shoots below.

We are looking for women and non-binary people across Australia to participate and help create magnificent art that represents and celebrates ALL women’s and non-binary bodies, and captures them as they deserve to be seen, free from the patriarchal male gaze. Our hope is to rally other like-minded people to help promote female empowerment, liberation, and total agency, and raise wider consciousness and incite discussion about body neutrality, gendered violence and inequality.
If you would like more information and to be kept in the loop about when we’re coming to your state and how you can get involved then please fill out the form provided.
You will not be sent any spam, marketing, or content that is not related to Tour De Nood.
Due to the tragic developments in America surrounding reproductive rights, and the questionable abortion laws in Australia, we have decided to give 100% of participant donations to a reproductive rights charity. If you have any suggestions for where our contribution might be best directed, please let me know through the form submission.
Crooked Images has had the privilege of operating across this vast continent, and so we must acknowledge that each image displayed was taken on unceded Aboriginal land. We acknowledge the sovereignty of Aboriginal nations and that Aboriginal connection to the land we live and work on can never be extinguished. We give our unwavering respects to the First Nations Elders, past, and present.
We are an all-inclusive entity that endeavours to continually learn and educate ourselves on the ways we can be more inclusive and support marginalised, vulnerable and targeted communities, particularly the LGBTQI community, indigenous persons and persons of colour, and those living with disabilities, while exercising humility about our privilege.
All Nudescapes are created by photographer Lauren Crooke, the director and creator of Crooked Images.
